Will no contact get my ex girlfriend to come back to me?

My girlfriend broke up with me 2 months ago and the last time I spoke to her was a month ago. I was told to have no contact with her that she will contact me. She said she broke up with me cause of her daughter and her ex was pressuring her no to see me behind my back. She said she would never go back to him cause he cheated on her 3 times and stole all the money from a deli they sold when they were first seeing each other. Since the break up she changed her cell number and said she needs “time” and used the old “it’s not you it’s me” well ever since she broke up with me her ex is at her house every weekend and he never was there when me and my ex were together. She said he is there for the kids and I said he wasn’t there for them before he was with his girlfriend at the time. She told me that he’s not with her anymore so it’s a natural conclusion that she’s seeing him again. She doesn’t admit nor deny it, but she says her ex is there for the kids. She chased me for 6 months and we went out for over a month and when she chased me in the beginning she was still with him. When we were going out we never had a fight or argued, the sex was great, and she said she loved me and wanted a life with me the whole time till we broke up and that’s what has me confused. So I have not contacted her in hopes that she is confused and will come back, will it work like the “dating gurus” say or not?
The ex is using his kid to make her not be with me by saying if you go with him I’m moving with my dad. He threatened to take custody of the kids if she pursued me.

I have a gf for a year and she is very sweet; nice and caring girlfriend. A really good person who always wants to help people. She does everything to make me happy. We always have spend great time together and we cherish all our time together. Honestly I want to spend all my life with her. She knew that I was married before and had 2 kids who I havent seen since my ex-wife left me she annulled me married another man and took my kids away from me. I miss my kids so much. She is praying that i would be able to see my kids again.

Everything seems so perfect until my ex-wife contacted me. She told me that she needs help for the kids. She said she is going abroad and the kids will stay with me. I told my gf about that and she was so happy for me that i am going to see my kids.This is her answered prayer! But my ex-wife contacted me again and told me that she wants to patch up with me for the sake of our kids. I still have feelings for her but my gf doesnt know it. and I want to see my kids. I thought of this over a week and I decided that this is best for the kids. I avoided my current girlfriend. She keeps on asking me how I am and why I am not texting her or calling her. I dont answer all her texts to me. Last sunday I text her and told her about my decision. She said she understand and she wants me to be happy. But after 2 hours I got a text from her that she wants to take care of the kids and love them as her own. She is willing to give up everything for me. She asked me to see her and talk but I decided to tell her that I couldnt see her because it will just give pain. I love her but I still have feelings for my ex-wife and I want my kids back to me.

I know that my gf is hurting and I know that she is a strong person and she will make it with out me. I want her to move on and find someone better than me. She doesnt deserve someone like me.

She keeps on texting me and she even said that she wish we can still keep each other while I am patching up with my ex-wife. I am hurting for her too. I know that her love for me is too much. I am confuse. I dont know what to do. Please help me here.

She’s been living 400km away for the past year with her new man. They broke up and she moved back to town 2 weeks ago without mentioning it to my partner (even though they were in mediation to work out custody arrangements to do with her being so far away the day before she moved!). I’m 100% aware that the positives outweigh the negatives here as the children can now see their Dad much more. However, my minor panic has to do with how she behaved last time we were living so close. Always ringing me, rocking up at the doorstep unannounced and trying to control his life under the guise that it’s “for the children”. As soon as she had her new man it all stopped, which was a big relief to both of us. I know I need to be optimistic that things will be different this time but it’s hard. We live in a country town of 800 people, so not much distance there! Just need tips folks on how to set boundaries without seeming like a mean person. I want to nip things in the bud before it gets out of control like last time. She likes to ring me because I’m a woman and understand her better apparently (more the point, I’m probably a pushover and she gets her way with me more than my partner!). I have told her many times that things should be between her and my partner not me but to no avail. How can you be firm with your partner’s ex without being mean? or is that not possible?
Jeff, you have hit the nail on the head…. you have given the advice I’d give anyone else. In any other facet of my life I would not put up with it, but in the early days I was just trying to make things peaceful for my partner. Good advice.

And as for insecurity for the person above, not at all the case. This all came about as I thought I was doing the right thing for my partner and his children. Time to change the action plan as being nice obviously did not work in this case.

Its been a few months, and he sent me an email saying that he missed talking to me and wanted us to be friends again.

I’m over the whole thing, although I do think about him a lot. I would never want to get back together with him though.

Please, can anyone put my mind at rest about why my husband watched his ex mistress as she walked to the metro?

Some of you know my history – my husband was recently let go with no further charge by the police, after his ex mistress accused him of sexual assault.

History is:

In Feb this year I caught my husband cheating with a woman for a whole year and apparently he was on the verge of leaving me for her but we worked through it. He swore that was it with her. Although he said he had loved her. She sent me all his messages and texts and IMs and in these, he expressed his love for her, said he didn’t want to be with me, I was sexless and cold, but SHE was vibrant, sexy and made him feel loved and able to love again.

After I found out, he cut her off and was horrible to her. He also denied he “meant” what he said in the years’ worth of those messages. BUT –

He went back to her many many times over 6 months, after he promised me that he would cut her out of his life for good – most recently in August when he went to her work, asked the guard to call her down, she got into his van to hear him out ..

The next thing you know, my husband is arrested for ‘sexual assault’ in September. He was finally released without charge 2 weeks ago, and that was that, but they have been warned to stay away from each other.

PRESENT DAY

I have found out via a very reliable source, that early this week, he drove past her as she walked home from work to the station – IMPORTANT- they both work in the same zip code, he is a driver – he saw her, stared, and apparently he parked right whereby he knew she would be walking past.

Minutes later she indeed walked past, and his van was right there, and he caught her gaze and made sure to hold onto it until she disappeared from his view.

I am sure he genuinely had a job/pickup/collection, but answer me this: why did he park right by where she would be walking? I happen to know there are PLENTY OF SIDE STREETS on that road so why did he park up in the main bit where she would be passing (entrance to the metro)

Why didn’t he just think ‘f her’ and park in a side street and not look at her?

Was her perhaps in a state of shock at seeing her for the first time since August, or was he intimidating her? (not his style)

…OR DOES HE WANT HER EVEN AFTER ALL THIS?

I don’t think he has tried to call her – this would lead to his arrest.

Is this coincidence or stalking? Is it enough for her to press charges again? I am sure he had a job on that street but he didn’t have to look at her did he? He saw her as he drove, and OK, he could not help gawping at her then, but then to PARK and watch her as she walked past 5 mins later? THAT IS DELIBERATE, NO?

THIS MIGHT BE A ONE OFF BUT THINGS ALWAYS START SOMEWHERE!

Divorced and ex wife is pregnant with another man child, can I be held responsable for this child?

I am recently divorced as of Nov of 2010 and got remarried in Dec. Me and my ex have been seperated for 2 years and havent seen eachother in about 21/2 years. She told me via email a month after our divorce that she is pregnant with her boyfriends child which was fine I didn’t respond cause I don’t care considering I’m happily remarried with my own 1st child on the way. I get an email from her the other day stating that she is due anyday now and that I have to sign a denial of paternity so that her boyfriend can assume responsibility for his child and since we havent been divorced for more then 300 days I would be assumed to be the father. She also threathened that if I didnt sign this paper she would be forced to take me to court for child support and a paterinty test. I am in the Army and we live on different sides of the country. Is she serious? can she really do this to me? I don’t know if shes just full of BS or this is legit. She is a very shady person and always has $$$ or something on her mind to be sneaky. and if this is the case why wait up until your due date to tell me I needed to do this. I simply responded by saying send me whatever paper I need to sign. and now I still havent heard anything back from her. I guess I’m trying to ask is this for real or is she just full of crap trying to get yet another rise out of me? My wife isnt to happy about this either with her pregnancy rage its not going over to well lol. By the way I’m asking this threw her email cause I don’t typical ask strangers questions and to give her piece of mind.

I filed a fiance visa and got approved so I bought her tickets and she came out here to the US for the first time ever and reside with me in NJ. We had 90 days to get married so we got married in January 2007. I then started to notice that she just used me to get into the US. My husband left me 4 & a half months ago to pursue his ex girlfriend. They started dating around 3 months or so, give or take a bit. He now lives with her at her apartment. They didn’t work out when they dated prior to myself and husband meeting 5 years ago, so I don’t think they will now.
