My ex and i broke up almost 2 months ago because he didnt want to be in a relationship anymore (we went out of over a year). Since we go to the same college we still saw each other and acted as if we were going out at times and talking about getting back together but never did we just continued to hang out. Its summer now and i havnt seen him in about 2 weeks. i know i need to give him space but i miss him so much and really believe that we can have a second chance. Any advice besides moving on because i am trying my best but deep down i believe we can work things out. PLEASE HELP!

Sorry this story is so long but I need everyone’s help

Basically, my ex-girlfriend and I ended our relationship back in August. We are both in college. We’ve dated for 2 years and known each other for 4 years. 2 months in October my ex-girlfriend started having a crush on my ex-friend. We were still semi-dating at the time and my ex-girlfriend spent the night at my ex-friend’s apartment and my ex-friend even kissed her even though he had a girlfriend at the time.

I basically forgave her for all this because she felt bad about this. She told me that she didn’t like my ex-friend like that and that she only liked him as a friend. A few months later I found out that she was still seeing Matt like text messaging him and stuff constantly and even invited him up to her dorm room where I almost got into a fight with him.

I decided to finally end things with her and took all my stuff back and told her not to contact me again. 3 weeks passed with both of us not talking to each other until she finally ran into me studying at the library. She told me that she missed me and that she wanted me back. She also told me that she tried things with my ex-friend but they didn’t work out. She told me that she only kissed him during this time but didn’t sleep with him because she missed me everyday and wanted to call me.

She’s still friends with my ex-friend but I feel to move forward, he shouldn’t be in the picture. I’m kind of iffy taking my ex-girlfriend back because I’m not sure if I trust her. I love her to death and I don’t want to lose her but at the same time I feel torn up. What should I do?

Update: Today my ex-girlfriend told me that she had sex with my ex-friend the first week we agreed on not contacting with each other. She told me that she had no feelings for him and that she regrets it every day and that she wants me back and that I’m “The one” for her. She says that it was a mistake and that it hurts her every single second knowing what she did.

I’m really hurting right now because I am still completely in love with her and I know it to. I feel like we match really well together and I’ve always wanted to marry her. Now I’m just sobbing uncontrollably. I’ll admit that I made some wrong choices too during the times we weren’t talking like getting drunk to the point of passing out for a few days and going on dates with girls that had the same personality as my ex. I never slept with any of those girls though because I still loved my ex even though one of them wanted to. Did I do the right thing or should I just have jumped into bed with the next available person? Can someone please guide me on what to do because even I’m confused with what I want to do. Please help me…

broke up 6 months, does ex girlfriend want to come back?

My ex and I broke up about 6 months, we date for about 2 1/2 years, she alway said she love me so much, I did everything I can to support her and make her happy because I love her, we have our future plan out together. Somehow she decide to broke up with me and start going out with another guy after a week we broke up, the guy was so different from me, and I know it would not last. I’ve decide to give her space, I don’t contact her anymore, she text me once every week asking me to go online talk to her, she said she want to talk to me when she is sad and lonely. Her family hate her new boyfriend, her parent has already met my parents, and they love me. She said we will be together in the future again, she told me that she dream about us getting back together. She went online and ask me if i have a new girlfriend, i said no, she then said she just broke up with her boyfriend. So i‘m 16 and i basically like and would learn to love these 2 guys which both happen to be my exes…so i‘ll call them ex a and ex b. Ex b just recently broke up with me, i dont blame him bcuz i was sorta confused bout my feelings for him, Ex a i broke up with a few months ago bcuz i had feelings for Ex b. Ex a and i had talked still and Ex b and i were together but what Ex b and i had wasn’t all good, we had barely talked whereas with Ex a we could talk about anything. So Ex a is “in love” with me and is trying so hard for me to go back with him, and Ex b had said he regreted breaking it with me. i really like both of these guys but one seems to have a quality which the other one doesn’t, which makes it hard for me to choose. Once i started going out with Ex b i started to become confused bcuz i thought i didn’t have feelings for Ex a bcuz i had them for Ex b but then i realized i had felings for both of them.

After Ex b broke up with me i told myself i would stay single for a bit, but Ex a has convinced me that i should make a decision soon or i‘d lose both. i am now stuck and i dont know what i should do.

Ex a: He’s 17 and portuguese. He’s told me i was his only real gf and thinks we have a future together. He’s respects girls, he is kind, a bit shy unless he’s around his friends, he is one of those popular guys, but he’s a really great guy. He is smart but he is more of a photoshop kinda guy. He takes care of himself and his body. From what he told me he was a “bad boy” but changed once he got to gr.11 he started focusing more in school, respecting teachers more, going to the gym. With Ex a i‘d be able to see a long term relationship with him, seeing that we can talk so much, but, he just lacks the confidence intimacy wise. He isn’t confident with kissing etc. He’s just a totally different guy than Ex b.

Ex b: He’s 16 and spanish. He is a popular guy and his friends are much different then mine. when he’s around me he’s great but around his friends he acts very cocky. He is one of those guys that would fight if someone pissed him off. He has alot of attitude with teachers. He gets angry easily. He is completly different than Ex a but he can really be a nice guy and knows how to treat his girl right. He is very smart but doesn’t always show it in the classroom. He also takes care of himself and he does play soccer. Basically i guess you can say this guy is a bit of a “bad boy”. Ex b i think i would see a long term relationship with him if we would communicate more, but, he has confidence in intimacy.

Please give your opinion on mayb who i should choose or just opinions about them and mayb the situation. Please dont be rude. Thanks.

Also to add to Ex a‘s background he is really annoying in a way i cant describe it. Like you would have to meet him to understand what i‘m talking about, i‘ve gotten comments saying how annoying he is and i think that was part of my reason i broke it. but i try to like accept that and try to work with that.

Both basically have me on a line, reeling me in at the same time.

I am torn between these two guys.
whoever i decide i know that it would be long-term but i‘m scared too choose the wrong guy.

has anyone ever taken an ex back after cheating?

my ex boyfriend left me a year and a half ago we were just shy of six years.he left without any reason.just little by little dropped from my life,and was very cold,now he started messaging me on facebook asking to speak with me,and out of curiosity i caved and he is saying that he wasted 2 YEARS of his life with her,which means he was cheating on me,like i knew back then but he said i was just crazy.also that so many events in his life had made him miss me and think of me,he found a folder in the daughter’s book bag and she had a bunch my old pictures,when he asked her why she said her and her brother kept them and looked at them because they miss me and thought he would get upset with them if he knew they saved them.also going on about how much i put up with and he realized i was the only girl he ever really cared for.now he wants to see me.is it foolish to even be friendly with him and see where it goes?
it’s just hard for me,it took me so long to cope without closier and the pain left but i always wondered was it me?what did i do or not do? now knowing that while i was hurting he was thinking of me feels good to know but i feel like i don’t know him anymore.the last few times i had seen him before he disappeared i felt that he was different and i didnt know him.is that weird?
oh,and when i caved and called him,he said he was so nervous because because of how it ended and what he did,he wanted to cantact me awhile ago but did’nt want to ”bother” me or interrupt my life for what he did to me.
