Is my my relationship with my ex wife affecting my daughter?

because she doesnt Fully understand whats going on between me and her mom?
My ex wife and I are not married and we’re not living together, but Sometimes we have sex and I sleep over and Im there and Its like we;re one big family, but then the next day Im out of there and I don’t see my daughter until the next week. Do you think that Its making her think we have a chance of getting back together, when clearly thats not going to happen. *she’s 9 yrs old

Yes, don’t ever think your child is too young to understand, they know much much more than you give them credit for.Do you know a baby as young as 3 months old can be depressed if he/she isn’t loved.
(not saying you don’t love your daughter just an example to show how much children know)

I think it is really confusing for your daughter one day you are one happy family and the next you are not.
It also gives your daughter the wrong impression of sex, you should think about that you don’t want your daughter to have sex too early and she might if she thinks sex isn’t a big deal.
In a world where 12 year olds are having sex you should be very careful what example you are setting.and sleeping with your ex and playing house will only get her hopes up about you getting back together just don’t give her any hopes when there isn’t any there.Your daughter will feel horrible when she finds out it is hopeless for you ever being a family again.

Just don’t get her hopes up,it is a cruel thing to do.even if you do not intend for it to happen.
